A taper buzz cut is booked as our Fade service, which covers tapers. It starts from $60 and takes 40 to 45 minutes. If you just want one length all over with no taper, our Buzz Cut is $25.
What's the difference between a buzz cut with taper and a skin fade?
A buzz cut with taper graduates the hair shorter towards the neckline and ears, but usually leaves a little length at the bottom. A skin fade takes the sides right down to bare skin. The taper is softer and grows out more gently.
How often will I need a taper buzz cut touch-up?
Most blokes with this style come back every 3 to 4 weeks. That keeps the neckline tidy and the taper looking crisp. If you like it extra sharp, every 2 to 3 weeks does the trick.
What is a long buzz cut taper?
It’s the same idea with more length left on top, usually from a longer clipper guard. The sides still taper down neatly. It’s a good pick if you want a softer look or you’re not ready to go really short.
